2nd-14th February at Foundry;
I will be showing my Octopus Love on the main bar wall. In these two weeks I invite and encourage everyone to put up an image or any media that is within H&S limits to this theme. I'd like to cover the whole wall in love, as octopus as it comes, and to keep the wall loving and moving.
Please do remember it gets busy in the bar on weekend nights so it can be difficult mounting up work and Mondays are closed. If you put your image up when I'm not there and you can't come back on Feb 14th when the work is coming off, leave your contact details at the back, so I can get the work back to you. Also, you are putting up your image, it's for you to think of how you fix it to the wall, the bar has nothing to do with it, so bring your own nails etc.

And the story of 'Octopus Love'? I watched the 'underwater' series of 'Life' narrated by David Attenborough few weeks back. The Male Octopus floats above the Female after mating to protect her and make sure she lays the eggs. Another Male Octopus turns up on the scene, pretending he's a female. He holds his tentacles? the female way and even changes his body colour into 'female'. Now the guarding Male lets him close thinking he got lucky- two birds in a day. And there they are, cheeky Octopus making love to Female under the Floating (=guarding) Octopus.
And why are we wondering about all the cases amongst humans?
